Taoxichuan Art Center Long-term Artist Residency Program
 
Taoxichuan Art Center, a contemporary art institution focusing on multi-materials research, is located in the Taoxichuan Ceramic Art Avenue, occupies an area of about 50,000 square meters, and focuses on artist residency and art education programs.
 
With rich and diverse resources and unique geographical advantages, Taoxichuan 
 
Art Center is dedicated to integrating traditional handicrafts into the design and material research of the new era of contemporary art, and providing a platform for domestic and foreign artists, designers, and handicraft enthusiasts to create, display, and exchange ideas.
 
Artist Residency Program
 
Under the residency program, applicants can apply for the following studios as the location of the residency.
 
Jingdezhen International Studio
 
Jingdezhen International Studio located at the Taoxichuan Ceramic Art Avenue, Jingdezhen urban area. It is a newly established ceramics culture hub in Jingdezhen. The studio occupies 966 square meters of space. It is a well-equipped 2 floors facility including private and communal studios, WIFI, dinning, reading area. It can host up to 10 artists, has 24 hours studio access, and is only a five minutes’ walk to the lodging area. The studio is equipped with 5 gas kilns (6 cubic-meter, 3.85 cubic meter, 1.82 cubic meter, 0.15 cubic meters, 0.05 cubic meters), 3 electric kilns (0.43 cubic-meter, 0.18 cubic meter, 0.08 cubic meter), 1 Raku kiln, electric potters’ wheels, clay room, glaze room with spray booth, plug mill, slab roller, sand blaster and dry box.
 
Taoxichuan Glass Studio
 
The Taoxichuan Glass Studio is located in the Taoji factory in the second phase of the Jingdezhen Taoxichuan, occupying a three-story space of about 4,000 square meters. Since its opening in October 2021, we are fully equipped with professional imported equipment and materials covering the full range of glass processes such as hot blowing, lampworking, kiln casting and cold working.
 
Taoxichuan Glass Studio gathers a team of professionals in the field of glass art, and is committed to exploring new possibilities of glass materials and contributing to the development of glass art in the world. At the same time, we hope to provide a free, open and tolerant art space for the public and artists interested in glass, including residencies, art courses, exhibitions and exchanges, research and development.
 
Quan ying International Art Center
 
The mission of Quanying International Art Center in Wang Ou Ceramic Art Avenue is "for you"&"crossover".We share the achievements of outstanding artists in the world; help young people at home and abroad to become professional potters;provide a display platform for outstanding domestic and foreign artists;provide a space and platform for communication,creation and exhibition for designers,artists and related companies from all over the world;Provide professional help and advice for product design and innovation;provide young people with a place to continue learning,practice, andbroadentheir horizons.
 
Longquan Wangou Taoxichuan International Studio is a contemporary art institution focusing on multi-material research.It is located in Wangou Tao X ichuan Cultural and Creative District,covering an area of about 10,000 square meters.There are 24 independent studios for domestic and foreign artists,designers,Workshop for craft lovers.Carry out projects such as artist residency,education,exhibitions,and art economy.
 
The art center is composed of several parts such as artist apartments,creative studios,and independent kilns.At the same time,there are public spaces such as art galleries,activity centers,and lecture halls.The studio has a spacious and independent creative space,equipped with advanced porcelain-making equipment and complete iving facilities,and there are also professional ceramic technicians to provide services and assistancefor the resident artists.Due to its rich and diverse resources and unique geographical advantages,Quanying International Art Center is committed to integrating traditional handicrafts into the design and material research of the new era of contemporary art.Provide a platform for creation,display and communication.

(7) Ten photos of artworks (jpg format, 1Mb size, resolution 300 dpi)
Please name all photos and files after the artist's name and the title of the artwork.

4. Application Submission

5. Application Screening
Applications submitted by artists will be screened by the Taoxichuan Art Center Committee. Successful acceptance will be determined by the information provided in the application, the content of the creative project, and the studio space available.

6. Notification of Results
Selected applicants will be notified of the results by email.
Applicants who are not selected will not be notified.

A breakdown of fees is attached to the residency application form.
